Don’t Miss Mickey Gilley & Johnny Lee on #RLRMLive

July 7, 2021

Don’t miss our upcoming Real Life Real Music Live show with Mickey Gilley & Johnny Lee on July 13th!

It’s no secret that RLRM has a history of interviewing some of Country’s biggest stars, and this duo is no exception. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to see these two legends together again, discussing their lives, career, experiences and musical history. Even better, the Dosey Doe Big Barn is known to be one of the best listening rooms in the entire country. This acoustic show is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

“To me, I could picture Mickey Gilley anywhere from Carnegie Hall to a dark bar down the street,” Hutton said. “And then Johnny Lee, I’ve always experienced his music more as just good ol’ boy country.”

Johnny Lee is an American singer-songwriter with some incredible hits that have spanned generations, such as his 1980 hit single “Lookin for Love,” which spent three weeks at the #1 spot on Billboard’s Country Singles chart. Mickey Gilley, on the other hand, is an incredible artist himself. Gilley started out singing country and western music in the 1970s, before moving to a pop-focused sound in the 1980’s.

Gilley & Lee are lifetime friends, and were both featured in the 1980’s film “Urban Cowboy,” which drove their success to new heights. Together, the pair have 38 chart-topping singles, and 20 #1 hits, such as “Room Full of Roses” and “Don’t the Girls all Get Prettier at Closing Time” by Gilley, and “Cherokee Fiddle” by Lee.

Don’t miss out on the chance to see these two historical country artists perform TOGETHER live and in person! Get your tickets to their show on Tuesday, July 13th at the Dosey Doe Barn here! Doors open at 6.
